We’ve teamed up with luxury perfumery, Floris London to give one luck reader the chance to #win a Night Scented Jasmine Gift Set worth £50, as a perfect present for Mother’s Day on the 30th of March.
Floris for women constitutes the creations of the Floris family members at the helm of the company today. Finely constructed, each of these contemporary English fragrances draw from a vast cumulative wealth of experience and are accompanied by an exquisite range of bath and body products.
Inspired by the original Jasmine perfume introduced in 1806 mother’s day gift set £50 by Mr. Floris. Vibrant green notes of violet leaf and blackcurrant buds introduce the radiant bouquet of white flowers with bath and shower gel 250ML jasmine underscored by a complex harmony of gardenia, neroli and ylang ylang. We’ve teamed up with handbag collection, Be.Loved to give one lucky reader the chance to win an Equis Small Leather Handbag in black and white worth £130!
The Equis leather handbag collection was inspired by the equine world, real leather bags with stud detailing and rein styled fasteners. A beautiful option for more dressy occasions or if you just fancy something a bit more lux.
The size of this gorgeous accessory is: 195 x 55 x 245mm- perfect for keeping your belongings safe whilst out and about.
The collection is available in three other colour combinations, Autumn Tan, Fuchsia Petal, and Charcoal Black.
Saffy Allen founded Be.Loved handbags after she struggled to find bags on the high street that delivered the high quality and killer looks that she wanted at a good value price. “I just couldn’t find a bag that could keep up with me so designed my own! By really getting to grips with how to make the bags, combined with using more of a luggage quality leather rather than the full grain leathers people may be used to”.
After teaming up with some local craftsmen who have been producing quality leather goods for over 40 years and a 6 month design process (featuring a steep learning curve getting to grips with the manufacturing techniques!), the first range of Be.Loved handbags, satchels and clutch bags was launched.

After a decade away from television, Nigella Lawson is back, with her brand new cookery competition, The Taste, which will premiere on Channel 4, and will certainly have all of our tastebuds tingling!
The 10 episodes have a simple format, which resembles a mash-up of Masterchef, The Voice and Naomi Campbell’s The Face, as the food created is blind-tasted and judge purely on its taste. The judges are only offered a spoonful of each contestant’s dish to decide their fate- dun, dun, dun!
Lawson, American chef, Anthony Bourdain, and French chef, Ludo Lefebvre will make up the judging panel and act as mentors to the contestants.
The first episode, which will be aired on January 7th 2014, whittles down a shortlist of 25 to a group of 12, and those lucky few will join a team of four, headed by one of the celebrity chefs.
After the initial episode, each show will consist of one group and one individual challenge, with an impressive roster of guest chefs including: Yotam Ottolenghi, Richard Corrigan, Angela Hartnett and Fergus Henderson.
Now the major twist of course, comes from the blindfolding, so the mentors don’t know whose food they’re tasting, so when it comes to the weekly elimination, they could be sending one from their own team home. Presentation is irrelevant in this competition, and instead contestants will be judged on how well they can blend textures, flavours and ingredients all within a single spoonful.
The best tasting dish will automatically send it’s creator through to the next round, whilst the individual least successful will be eliminated from the competition.
‘The Taste’ will begin on Channel 4 on Tuesday 7th January at 9pm.

Macs ‘Recipe Of The Week’ from the Paradise restaurant is Roasted Rump of lamb with fennel puree and Baby Beets
250g of rump lamb per person
100g of unsalted butter
100g podded broad beans (or you could uses garden peas)
Bag of pickled beets – around 24 pieces. The picked vac packs are fine.
80ml of olive oil
25ml of sherry vinegar
1tsp coriander seeds
1 clove of crushed garlic
1 sprig of thyme
1 bay leaf
500g fennel sliced
100ml white wine
250ml chicken stock
Salt and pepper
Lamb sauce 100g
Water cress for decoration – optional.
Pre heat the oven to 200C
Heat a frying pan big enough to hold all your lamb; season the meat with salt and pepper. Add 50g of butter to pan and when melted add the lamb and turn to even brown each side of the meat.
Put the lamb to the oven in the frying pan and cook for 8 minutes. Remove from the oven and rest on a room temperature tray for 5 minutes. Do not wash the pan, just put to one side as you will need it again later.
Place the beats, oil, sherry vinegar, crushed coriander seeds, garlic, thyme and bay leaf in a sandwich bag and give them a good rub so they are covered in the oil and herbs. Put to one side.
Heat the remaining butter in a new pan big enough to fit the sliced fennel. When but butter begins to foam, add the fennel, salt and pepper and clamp on a lid to sweat until it turns transparent.
Add the white wine and cook until the wine is reduced to syrup. Add the stock and cook until the fennel is really tender, and then reduce until the stock is completely cooked away. Remove from the heat and puree.
Tip the beet mixture into the fennel pan and gently warm through.
Warm the pan you used to brown the meat and heat the lamb sauce and broad beans until the beans are soft.
To serve, arrange the beets and purée on a warm plate; slice the rested lamb and place on top of the vegetables. Spoon over the hot sauce and beans and serve immediately.
